Hello and Welcome,

In our March newsletter, we would like to draw your attention to a phasing change to funding levels, our new iEngagement service and the latest on Wendy’s challenge.

Phasing Change to Funding Levels!

In order to comply with your employer duties, it is important to note that as of next month, the total contributions based on qualifying earnings will change to 5% with employer payments increasing to 2%. Our systems are already set up to process the new amounts and the automated letters will alter to reflect this from April pay period.

Phasing is the process which automatically increases contributions to automatic enrolment pension schemes and this is done in two increments:
– The first with effect from the 6th April 2018
– The second with effect from the 6th April 2019.

Here’s how the phased levels of contributions look:

*Tax relief from the government at the basic rate of 20% may be claimed for employees by the pension provider.
Please see the attached discretionary letter template link which is available for download to inform staff.

Declaration of Compliance

It does not matter if you are enrolling for the first time or completing your cyclic re-enrolment on the third year anniversary, you must complete a Declaration of Compliance. Your AutoEnrollMe Employer Portal carries the information required for The Pension Regulator in the Compliance Portal. The Declaration of Compliance must be completed to avoid fines – its the law! Responding to requests from clients who would prefer to outsource the completion of the Declaration, we are pleased to advise we can complete this process on your behalf. If you would like to know more or would like us to complete this for you, please contact us by clicking on the “Talk to Us” button at the end of this News Letter and leave a message for us to get back to you.

If you prefer to contact us directly, please use the Talk to Us button below.

Wendy reports training is going well – “but a little less snow and a bit more sun would be welcome!”

If you wish to know more about her story or support her fundraising for this good cause please follow the link to her personal page.
